Complaint against a Teller
We have been with PNC for 20 years. We have a Joint Checking, Savings & a single checking, please a credit card.
Went to PNC at 17725 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, DE to Deposit two checks into my wife's account and she wanted $16.00 back. Your *** teller Irina Rozhkova would not give me the $16.oo because it was going into my wife's account. Everyone in that bank knows me and also knows that I am an Ordained Deacon and I'm not going to steal $16.00. That Nasty woman made me go out to get my wife out of the car & come in to get the money.
Next week, I plan to move everything to another bank and I am telling my kids in DE, MD etc to do the same. AND, you can thank Irian Rozhkova for losing all that money.

Verified Reviewer | Lady Lake, FloridaPNC Merchant Services Is No Good!
I contacted PNC merchant services, spoke with a representative, Randi McKenna, who signed me up for a merchant account but did not give me full disclosure of the contract. Now, two years later, I am being charged with all these excesses fees; neither did Randi tell me...
I filed a complaint with the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, which did no good; Mark Blackstock lied to them, saying that he did an investigation but he did none! He sent Consumer Finance Protection Bureau a letter saying he addressed the issue with me but he lied! Mark sent me a letter dated August 5th, with the same thing he told me in June when I first contacted him about the issue. PNC Merchant Services should be closed down and all the top executives put in jail; they are a scam and rip-off and the government allows them to get away with it!!
Now, PNC Merchant Charges has placed another unannounced charge on my merchant account for the month of October for $109.00; I was told it was an annual fee to cover the charges Visa and Mastercard fees they are charged!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!! PNC Merchant Services are making up fees as they go!!! The Representative also told me the $19.50 a month I am being charged, is because I don’t process credit cards each month; so I am getting penalized for not using their services each month!!! How can these government agencies, who are supposed to protect consumers against companies like PNC Merchant Services, allow this to happen? The whole government is nothing but a sham; if you not rich or famous, they care nothing about you – it is absolutely true in this country, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer – the rich, the government included, steals from the poor, to make themselves richer and more powerful!!!!
- I did not like not given full merchant account details
- I did not like i was lied to

Pnc Bank - Manager Review
Worst experience ever spaeking to Jessica who claims to be a Retail Manager, phone number 614 856-****. Yes, I called very upset after finding out I was charged a 15.00 service charge which caused me 2 overdrafts for transactions that I had money in the account to cover.
Mind you ive had this account for over 6 years and was never charged any service charges until now. Jessica yelled at me and told me the final decision is she will not refund the charges and she was very argumentative with me to the point I had to coach her on staying professional at all times and as a manager she should never yell or talk over the customer. Neadless to say she said her Supervisor Kathy Gardner would call me back but she would not be refunding anything either and that was the final decision. If the call was recorded as I hope it was, I hope it's played back to her superiors as an example as a bad customer service experience!!
The manager and entire customer service team needs Soft Skill training!! If I had been an undercover CEO calling, after this experience Jessica would no longer have a job and I would be embarrassed and sick to my stomach to know I have such unprofessional animals speaking to my customers.
Now lets see if I even get a call back. Very unhappy, Sharon Thomas, Gurnee IL Customer
Pnc Bank Atm Machine Review
After the first nightmare night and rude service I was just awoken at 3am by an email from Pnc saying I was overdrawn and 4! Charges of 36$ stolen from me. I have the screenshot of my account and I was temporarily granted the 33$ deposite but they still charged me....
Finally the hotline took my info I asked if I should tape out of order on machine and was told thank you that would help others. The put a temporary 35$ credit because the reason it was so important was the account was 24$ overdraft from trip I had just returned and I wanted it covered until I was paid Friday. The back of sign i placed had my phone number so a woman from branch called next morning. She started by scolding me for the sign to which I responded that the operator had recommended it.
Then she not so slyly posed a "hypothetical" case of people claiming this to avoid overdrawn charges. Then added another warning about the sign. By this point I was boiling and stated that she is criticizing the wrong person and needs to improve internal communication because it is horrid along with her tone and attitude. She curtly ended the conversation never asking one question about my deposite.
Not ammount, time, what size bills etc. by the time I cooled and found the balance check receipt I used immediately after the malfunction to get exact time it was 4:01 and no one would pick up. Bottom line is if your not dealing in sums worthwhile for them or not blessed with large nest egg you are nothing but a hassle. With no value to them that is how you are treated.
As a note the woman on the hotline that I finally reached that night was polite and did all she could for me. The only bright point in long cold hassle
- Lying reps at the branch
- Unethical
- Stole from me
Can't make an online payment to PNC unless you have a PNC checking account
I found out that the '3rd party' that they use for accepting online payments DID NOT HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER IN THEIR DATABASE.
That was the reason I was unable to login to the 3rd partly online system. I was told this can only be resolved by talking to PNC, (not by talk...
I live on the west coast where there are no PNC branches.
The only way for me to make a payment is to MAIL it (FFS it's the 90's man, get with it), or to call and make a payment over the phone.
I set up a PNC consumer banking online profile, answering all their questions, only to find out that it does me no good if I don't have a PNC checking account. Customer service is completely oblivious to this circumstance, as I was told on multiple occasions that creating an online profile would solve all of my problems. Instead, all it did was create a breach in the security of my personal information, as I was forced to hand them all of my personal information in order to create my profile.
I sincerely believe that PNC bank is a front for a *** group of teenagers running a money laundering scheme from the basement of their grandmother's Chicago home.
All I want to do is submit my monthly payment online, just like every single one of my other utility and banking payments. Unfortunately, PNC is stuck in 1985, and requires that you mail them a 'coupon', or call and beg for customer ***-istance.
- Unorganized mess
- Customer service
- No communication between departments
Preferred solution: Provide a system for online payment from a non-PNC account. (similar to every other modern utility company or banking institution)

Deposit of $596.93 Canadian Check * 11/9/2016
After the ATM @ PNC rejeced my deposit, I went to the drive-thru to complete the transaction; the attendant informed me I would have to come in to make the deposit. Inside the teller hands me the check back saying, you may want to go back to the Company of this check, and that depositing here could take several weeks.
I let the teller know that I was their only to cash the check & get the funds into my account. I was then made aware of a $25 fee to process the transaction. I ask him to perhaps waive the fee as I have been a good client for 3 decades; but the answer was no. Before leaving the back on 11/9, I was surprised that it wasn't until I became insistent, that I could get a receipt!
The teller stated the $25 bank charge was all that I would get. Because the bank charge receipt gave no indication of a check being processed or amounts, I said, "make a copy of the Canadian check, time stamp & please sign it". I was little perplexed that a bank would allow a customer to leave, without any evidence of eccepting or being/taing possession of a check transaction; especially when there was going to be a delay in seeing the funds hit my account. At the anticipated several or (3) week period, I began to contact CustomerService who let me know that the time period could be 6 weeks; eventually gave me a # to Katrina, who worked in PNC International Accounts.
Katrina said, the time period was 5 weeks, but that's AFTER she receives the check WHICH was 11/21! I found out the $25 fee sure didn't go for an overnight service; I was told that the Bank Branch held on to my check, waiting to send it in a bundle with other documentation. It took Katrina (12) days before she could START the (5) week processing period. PNC's process in handling the cashing of this check has identified no: sensitivity: urgency: effectiveness or even concern!
Today is December 6th and I'm being told perhaps "after Christmas" for a Canadian check that I went to my PNC bank to deposit NOVERMBER 9TH!! After the teller originally handing my check back to me.. after PNC tacks on a $25 fee to the transaction..
after the Branch took (12) DAYS (or the "9TH" business day) getting my check from Columbus too Pittsburgh (just to BEGIN a (5) week processing period) lets me know that for some reason, International checks are undesirable to PNC, because in this area they (PNC) is not even trying. In this life, there is certainly bigger fish to fry; I rarely complain, but it being this close to 2017, I know "IF PNC wants to", they can do better than this.
PLEASE Don't Bank with PNC
I called the 800#, and was placed on hold for over 30 minutes, then shuffled around from one worthless customer service rep to another. I finally got in touch with supervisor and she did nothing, her colleague then did nothing, and so on and so forth.
They do absolutely nothing to assist a customer but they apologize profusely which accomplishes nothing. It is a complete waste of time. This bank does not care about you and they will prove that if you call them. If you decide to bank with PNC, they will eventually make you regret it.
I liked Chase so much better. I moved so I wasn't as close to a Chase branch.
I wish I had stayed with Chase and made the long drive. Anyways, you have been warned.

PNC customers should know that the law firm of Migliaccio and Rathod currently has an open investigation into the charging of excessive overdraft fees. Type in "Migliaccio and Rathod overdraft" into Google to find their website.
Good luck with your "bill"
keep enough money in your account = no problems
Been a customer of them since mid 1960's.. never been charged ONE FEE - - EVER
Good Luck.
Sounds like 'anonymous' has had an 'outlier' kind of good experience.
From most of what I have heard (and also from personal experience) PNC has a history of not being very transparent when it comes to disclosing just how fees are applied.
Take for example what was supposed to be a simple $2 monthly fee for a paper statement for Virtual Wallet, yet we were charged $6 per month.
How did PNC explain that? Well, they said it was $6 because they were reporting on 3 separate sections of the Virtual Wallet, but of course, it is mailed all on one page!
