Typically, I love the ease of using PNC. But this scenario I have been dealing with for too long has really got my finances and account screwed up where it's hurting my credit and nothing is being done to expedite my situation.

Beginning on September 8th, my aunt had written me a check (legit from her branch Citizens Bank) for several thousand dollars. It was reimbursement for materials I had bought while building a ramp for her wheelchair. She had sold her house in Missouri and was waiting on her money to hit her bank; she paid me when it hit. The first check her bank gave her, she wrote it, I deposited it, and my bank PNC credited my account the next day, so I paid down bills/credit cards exceeding the amount I previously had in my account.

The money was yanked out of my account with no warning and returned to Citizens. My account was now -$350ish. Super confused, I called and no one was helpful. I got misled and bounced to several different departments.

I pulled money from savings to bring my account back into the green.
My aunt writes another check, same thing, and now I am on the 3rd check. Fingers crossed it works because now my account is flagged to the point I can't even make a typical mobile deposit with my payroll checks. One person helped and actually did their job and figured out why, but it still didn't fix what has been done; everyone else pretty much said they can't do anything, they don't know, I had to contact her bank, or some other pass-the-buck reasoning.

It's crazy that they'll let a customer in a desperate situation hang like this. I now have 4 late bills and 3 overdraft issues due to them not doing what they'd promised by protecting me due to this unresolved issue. I'm so angry. No one wants to do their jobs anymore; if it's a difficult situation, they deny knowledge and won't dig in to figure it out.

It makes me sick. I've spent the past 11 years with PNC and exchanged over roughly $700k through their network. Guess their call center customer service isn't equipped with knowledgeable and trustworthy employees anymore. I'm ready to close all my accounts with them and move on.

They used to be great, now not so much.

I feel stranded. If I owed them money and it was not going into their accounts, I'm sure someone would resolve it right away.

I have had my checking and savings accounts with PNC for over a year now, and I'm on my 18th debit card in 3 months because of fraud charges and double charges through Cash App. (I would use my Cash App card and it would subtract the amount twice...once through Cash App and once through PNC.

Then they would hold my larger transactions until my balance was low, then put them through so it showed me overdrawn. When in fact they were taking the amounts out twice, putting me in the red so they could charge NSF fees. I have tried till I'm blue in the face to explain all this to someone...customer service, and even in the branches. No one listened.

They blew me off. Even called corporate...no help. Until Monday of this week. A nice PNC employee sat down with me and we went through all, well a lot of it anyway, and she agreed that all I have said was true, and AVOID THIS BANK AT ALL COSTS!!

PNC was taking back provisional credits THEY NEVER GAVE ME. I have a 20-mile long paper trail proving all of this.

NOW they have closed my accounts with no reason or warning. Pretty suspicious...

I had my bank set up with updated mortgage payment. My personal bank sent two payments.

When I saw this, I called PNC immediately and was told (Feb 3rd) that they put in for the overage refund. $1200 dollars with a paper check. The agent said I should have it by 2/18. It's 2/19, and I called PNC, and they said the check was mailed on 2/13, and with Presidents Day , I ?'should'?

get it by the 26th-28thIn the meantime, this senior needs her meds, food, and gas for my car. So the agent says he will file a complaint on my behalf.How does that work? A lunch table with a round of CS agents laughing about how to stick it to the customer.

If PNC wants to, they could overnight the check. But nopeThat would be GREAT customer service, and no one sees that today.

My check was suppose to be in my account Thursday night Friday... I kept checking n checking and it's not there... so I call the so called 24 hours service line and it says they closed n gives another number... I call that number and it says they closed and disconnects... why the he'll have 4 or 5 different 24 hours numbers if nobody is able to assist.. it's now Sunday and I gotta wait til Tuesday to even speak with someone.... pure ridiculous now my bills will be late... and the same check from the same place has always deposit my check on time each month..Uncalled for and *** and pnc don't even offer a app link to be able to chat or check the issue... horrible assistance and banking

The customer service agent was very nice but was not able to accommodate my request. The problem is not the customer service it is the automated process you have to go through to get to a human being it is a nightmare and I'm not the only PNC customer that feels this way

Trying to contact a real person to explain what I called for is a real pain! All the options were none that I wanted to contact PNC for! I was going out of state for four days and didn’t want trouble using my credit cards but anything that prompt me to call a number related to that would not allow me to notify PNC! Just so happened when I did finally reach a real person she took care of my needs at the time even though it wasn’t her department!
