I do banking by my smart phone. I use an app from the google store, that PNC designed and suggested as a mechanism to access my accounts.

Except for one little thing....it' doesn't allow me to access all my accounts. No access to an overdraft account, unless I use a dedicated alternative browser. Why? Because PNC designed it that way.

Essentially you cannot make a payment to the overdraft account via smarthphone app. You have to use a browser. That way, PNC can say you didn't make a payment/ (* because you can't) and that way they get to charge you some fee's. Not a little bit, but a lot of them.

36.00 dollars each, which I believe is outrageous enough, but lets assume you have an overdraft account, like I do. It's to protect you in case you go over. But the application designers know this is an issue, and they don't let you pay your account unless you do it directly or through a browser. NOT THE APP> But who's fault is it when a payment is not able to be made??

IT's only the consumer. Not the bank. They made an access port/ point, and it's know to be limited, but it must make them a ton of dough, because they have known about it and not made any changes. definition of Theft by deception; Theft by deception is similar to a basic theft charge, which is the unlawful taking of something that belongs to another person with the intent to deprive the owner of the property, but theft by deception requires that the individual employed some deceptive act or used deceptive words which were relied upon by the victim in making the decision to turn over their property.

I RELIED ON THE WORDS AND IMPLIED ABILITY TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNTS. The fact that PNC doesn't allow access to make payments via an app that has been made and distributed by them, makes them equally liable for any fee's that are the result of that inability to have access. I asked for the bank to reimburse my account with the knowledge that I can now only make payments via a REAL BROWSER and not their APP, and they denied me. The hypocrites at PNC need to have legislation forced on them to requires them to repay others where bank errors either limit or put customers in harm's way.

Just as a car manufacturer who didn't' put seat belts in, or seat belts that only work if you buckle them with two left hands by a guy named google. This is literally false information. He should learn how to manage money better.

How can you allow a consumer to share false info o how the bank does things? First of all hes wrong, second of all, it's not the bank's fault that he's an idiot.
